Dr. Alex Kalmanovich

Founder & Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Alex Kalmanovich is a general and cosmetic dentist in Laguna Beach, California, dedicated to providing personalized, preventive-focused dental care using advanced technology. Known for his friendly and compassionate approach, he helps patients feel comfortable while delivering high-quality results.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine and his dental degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. After returning to Southern California, he established Laguna Family Dentistry and now serves patients throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County. Dr. Kalmanovich is committed to continuing education, with advanced training in laser dentistry, endodontics, dental implants, and aesthetic dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. Kalmanovich enjoys spending time in Laguna Beach with his wife and two children, staying active through basketball, swimming, and running along the coast.

Dr. Loren Tarr

DDS

Dr. Loren Tarr brings more than 20 years of clinical experience and compassionate, patient-centered care to Laguna Family Dentistry. As a general dentist, he is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where patients of all ages feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental care. His approach emphasizes preventive dentistry, education, and gentle treatment to support long-term oral health.

Dr. Tarr earned his dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2000 and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry. He began his career serving underserved communities through the King County Health Department in Seattle before founding and leading his own successful dental practice for over two decades.

After relocating to California in 2024, Dr. Tarr continues to provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on quality outcomes and meaningful patient relationships. Outside the office, he enjoys sculpting, exploring the Southern California coast, and spending time with his family, bringing both artistry and thoughtfulness to his approach to dentistry.

Dr. Elizabeth Le

DDS

Dr. Elizabeth Le is a dedicated general dentist who provides compassionate, personalized dental care at Laguna Family Dentistry. With a comprehensive approach and a strong focus on patient comfort, she is committed to helping individuals and families achieve healthy, confident smiles. Growing up in a family of dentists, Dr. Le developed an early appreciation for the impact thoughtful dental care can have on overall health and well-being.

Dr. Le earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Pacific, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and her dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the VA Long Beach Hospital, gaining advanced training in prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery.

Dr. Le has experience serving patients throughout Los Angeles and Orange County and remains committed to continuing education and clinical excellence. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring new cuisines, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
